Affected component (e.g. script, unit, ...)

Many of the units are not worth their cost, let's go through them here and make suggestions for different prices.

Imperial Remnant

Preybird: 150
XG1: needs to looked at after the warhead adjustment. It might be good at where it is.
Scimitar: needs to be compared to other bombers more before pricing can be adjusted but I feel it's too expensive at the moment.
Elite squadron: Should be fine as it is.
IPV: Way too expensive at themoment. It's not much stronger than a single fighter squadron without having the mobility. So maybe 600?
Tartan: Too expensive, it is basically a better version of the IPV but has issues dealing with more than two shielded fighter squadrons at the same time. Move it to tech two and reduce the cost to 1000.
Lancer: The pricing seemed to good so far, let's keep it for the moment. We might want to move it to tech 3 for all factions however.
Escort Frigate: should be priced as the Nebulon be, shich it is at the moment but the nebulon b is too expensive itself so maybe let's go for 2150.
Carrier: No idea
Vindicator: fine
capital ships: fine

Galactic Empire

TIE LN: Too expensive, they should be usable as intended, on mass. Proposal: 50
TIE Bomber: It is useful but since it can be taken out so easily maybe it should only cost 250
TIE IN: 400?
Elite squadron: fine
TIE Defender: needs further cmparisons
Imperial customs corvette: 1500?
Lancer: fine and move it to tech 3
Byonet: 1600?
Nebulon B: 2300?
Ton Falk: no idea
Vindicator: fine
Capital ships: fine

Rebels

X-Wing: fine
Y-Wing: fine

We'll also have to evaluate this in respect to the intended role of the ship (if the ship sucks at fulfilling this role, we might have to adjust that as well).

Things I discussed with Doci last night were to calculate production cost (and eventually time and population cost) depending on the ship's attributes. So the AI combat power of a ship, together with e.g. damage and speed and maybe a custom attribute (like required crew members) would work together to create the price for the unit. Ideally that could be described as a single formula so we can automate that whole thing.

I also just noticed a bug: The imperial Remnant in your screenshot does not seem to have an interceptor unit. Tracked in #YVAW-18.
